Invitation to User Meetup -YarakuZen- 

 

Thank you for using YarakuZen.

We are thankful for the large number of participants in our previous user meetup two years ago. In response to the Covid19 situation, we will be holding this user meeting online.

Our book "Machine Translation Taizen", published in October 2020, has also been well received, and we are happy for any help it provides in your daily translation work.

Also in this meetup, Prof. Masaru Yamada, the co-author of the"Machine Translation Taizen" will give a short talk about recent translation trends and post-editing.

After graduating from Tokyo Institute of Technology, he worked for a major IT company as a SE (including machine translation), overseas representative, and partner policy.
He has been in his current position since 2019. ITLS Corporation is mainly engaged in establishing and promoting AI translation services.

Masaru Yamada / Professor of Faculty of Foreign Studies, Graduate School of Foreign Language Education, Kansai University
From Tokyo, Japan. M.A. (Linguistics), West Virginia University, USA. Graduate School of Intercultural Communication, Rikkyo University. Dr. (Intercultural Communication Studies/Translation and Interpretation Studies), After working as an in-house interpreter for Ford Motor Company and as an industrial translator, he established Translation Lab Co. Served on the board of directors of the Japan Association of Interpreters and Translators. He is currently Chief Evangelist at Yaraku, Inc. He is a member of the Board of Directors of the Asia Pacific Association for Machine Translation (AAMT).
