Yaraku, Inc. (Shibuya, Tokyo, CEO: Suguru Sakanishi) , a provider of online translation tool "YarakuZen", announced that Mie Translation Services Co.,Ltd. (Location: Taipei, Taiwan, CEO: Mieko Murai) has joined their Translation Marketplace specializing in “post-editing”.

Yaraku, Inc. has added Ukrainian as a supported language on its machine translation platform "YarakuZen" on Friday, April 8th.

Ukrainian is added as a supported language on YarakuZen
As of April 2022, the unstable situation in Ukraine continues.
In addition, the government is expanding its support for displaced people, and many are expected to come to Japan in the future.
The need for Ukrainian translation of all kinds of documents, such as emails and official papers is increasing. To contribute, Yaraku made an expedited decision to add Ukrainian to our translation platform. Our team developed the addition in two days and launched it on April 8th.

YarakuZen now supports a total of 28 languages, including  Ukrainian.
Four translation engines are available on YarakuZen (Google Translate, DeepL, Microsoft Translator, and NICT).
Please select Google Translate or Microsoft Translator to use Ukrainian.
* If you want to use NICT engine, you need to apply for the Company Plan and paid options.

The members of Yaraku, Inc. express their deepest sympathies to the victims and all those who are facing difficulties in Ukraine and the surrounding areas, and sincerely hope that the world will return to a peaceful and safe place as soon as possible.

We would like to announce our upcoming seminar to be held on April 26th.

In the seminar on Tuesday, April 26th, 2022, we will discuss the quality, usage, and security of various translation engines such as Google Translate, DeepL, and NICT.

Masaru Yamada, the co-author of "Machine Translation Taizen" and a professor at Rikkyo University, will answer these questions;

"Is the quality of AI translation good enough to use for business?"

"How can we use it effectively?"

"Is confidential information properly secured?"
